The Creabl Glossary
The Creabl Glossary
These are words you’ll commonly see when you use Creabl
User
A visitor that has visited your website recently. Users will be divided into Guests or Leads, depending on whether they left their email or not.
Guest
A person who hasn’t yet signed up for your product (or sometimes, a user who’s not logged in).
Lead
A signed-up, logged-in user of your product.
Attribute
A type of data that collects facts about a person relevant to your product, like what plan they’re on, or about your conversations with them, like when they last messaged you. Some data attributes come standard with Creabl, and you can create your own custom data attributes.
Event
A type of data about actions your users take in your product. Events record the first and last date something happened and how many times it happened. You can also add metadata to events to give them more context.
Session
A recorded video of a user’s behavior on your website. It includes all user’s actions, clicks, scrollings, site navigation, etc.
Cohort
A saved group of guests or leads you created by filtering certain events or attributes. People are automatically added to a cohort as soon as they match the criteria set with your filters.
Filter
A filter is a tool to create a custom combination of limits of your user list in order to show only users that you want to see. Filters can be saved to Cohorts, by clicking Save to Cohort button.
Session’s Actions
Session’s Actions are the records of a specific list of actions, namely
  • Navigate when a user slides between pages
  • Click when user clicks whenever on your site
  • Button Click when a user clicks on some buttons
  • Text input when a user types something in text areas.
Session’s Pages
A number of slides between different pages in this particular session. It doesn’t show the unique pages, but the navigation requests. For example, if you have only 2 pages and user is sliding between it several times, we will show the number of slides, not the number of pages.
Teammate
A teammate is a person whom you, as an owner or creator of workspace, can invite to your team in Creabl. Teammates can see people that you can see, sessions that you can see, create filters and cohorts.
Installation
An installation is the process of setting up Creabl on your site or app. There are three easy ways to get set up.
Note
A short message designed to share some information about something interesting on the session with your teammates.
User list
All the people — guests and leads — you track in Creabl. You can filter the people in the list based on events and attributes.
User profile
A page with all your data on a user, actions, custom attributes, sessions and other data updated in real-time.
