What is it?
You can use filters with specific conditions to quickly find new users.
It’s really convenient but applying filters every time is probably not practical. That’s why we have cohorts for that. Cohort is a group of users united by some action or characteristic.
You don’t have to create filters every time and set them to view a particular batch of users that you’re interested in.
You can create a cohort once, and then you can use it in terms of the whole service.
Basically, Cohort is a pre-saved sample of users.
How to create cohorts
Go to the Cohorts section in the left bar.
In open page click ‘New cohort’ button for creating a new cohort
You can create a name
Click "add filter" to find and filter users who are going to get to the cohort
The first item is the users that you want to see in a sample.
You can choose all users, guests, leads or users from a previously created cohort.
Note: guests are visitors who didn’t become leads, didn’t send a submission. Leads are users who sent a submission
The second item is the condition of how you filter users in a sample. There are attributes and events in the list that you have to set additionally.
Functionality of Creabl allows you to add more filters. Click ‘add filter’
If you want filter A and filter B to complement each other, set the AND condition. If you need filter A and B to work independently, set the OR condition
Click “Create Cohort” to finish creating new cohort
Now, thanks to the created cohort, you can quickly find users you need in any section of the Creabl service
How to edit cohorts?
To edit the created cohort, go to the ‘Cohorts’ section in the left bar. Choose the required item and click ‘edit’.
In the open page you can adjust filter settings and save it again, and use it later in different website sections where you need to work with this particular group of users.
