In order to start working with sessions, you need to go to Sessions.
A session is the time interval during which the user interacts with the website. The Creabl platform records sessions on video.
For more comfortable work with user sessions, you can apply filters. To do this, click Add filter.

In the List section, you can apply a previously created cohort.
Note: you can learn more about how cohorts work in the Cohorts lesson.
To search for the session you need, use the Search bar.
We will now go into each column in more detail. The User column is for users' names.
The Session Date column indicates the date and time the user visited the website.
The Action column shows the actions performed during a visit to your website, that is, during a user session.
The Live label shows that the user is currently on the website or has recently completed their session.
The Pages column stands for how many pages the user visited during the session.
In the Duration column, you can see the duration of the session, that is, for how long a visitor was on your website on all pages in total in one visit.
You can customize the columns by clicking on the corresponding button in Settings.
In order to go to the user's profile, you need to click on their name. The profile contains user's information, events that the user has committed and the last user's sessions on your website.
To go to the user session viewing interface, click Play.
The Landing url item indicates the page that the user visited during the session.
The User info block contains information about the user.
Note: The User info block consists of attributes that are configured on the Creabl platform and transmitted from your website. To learn more about what attributes are and how to configure them, see lessons Users and How to configure attributes and events
In order to go to the full profile, you need to click on the See profile button.
The Action block contains the actions that the user performed during the session.
To study the user's actions on the website, you need to click on the Play button in the video player.
The Skipping inactivity feature allows you to skip time intervals where users are inactive. These gaps are highlighted in orange. The system skips this time interval and continues showing the record from the moment when some action occurs. To disable this feature, click Skipping inactivity.
To adjust the speed, click Speed.
If you need to leave a comment, you need to click Note & share. The note is displayed on the timeline with the corresponding icon.
If you want to share a recording of this session, you need to copy the link from the Note & share section.
Please note that when you click on the link that you shared, the video playback may start from a certain second, if a corresponding box is checked.
In order for the recording to play from start, uncheck this feature.
