To install the Creabl code, go to Settings and select Installation.
The Creabl code is a small script that you need to place on all pages of your website before the </body> tag.
To install the code, you should:
- Copy the Creabl code.
- Insert the script on all pages of your website before the </body> tag.
- Check that the code was installed successfully.
We will now go into each item in more detail.
- To copy the code, click on the Copy code button.
- Next, go to the Wordpress Admin Panel, where you need to edit the template file.
The first way to install code
The first way is to directly edit the file containing the </body> tag and save it.
The file is located in the Admin Panel of the website and is called footer.php. In order to edit it, click on the Appearance button
and then Theme File Edition.
In the Theme files block, select the file with the name Theme Footer.
Scroll down and insert the previously copied Creabl code before the </body> tag.
To save, click Update File.
To check that the installation is successful, insert the address of our website in the Enter domain name field. To complete the check, click the Check system button.
After completion, you will see a message that the code was added successfully.
The second way of installation
There is the second way to install the code.
In case you don't have the footer.php file in Theme Files or it is difficult to find a file with the </body> tag, it is possible to install the code through a special Wordpress plugin.
How to install the plugin?
In order to install the plugin, go to the Plugins section and select Add Now.
In the Search bar, write the name of the plugin, Insert Headers and Feet.
Select Insert Headers and Footers by WPBeginner and click Install now.
After successful installation, click Activate.
To configure the plugin, select the Insert Headers and Feet item from the Settings menu on the left.
In the Script area in Footer, we place the Creabl code.
This area is responsible for placing the code before the </body> tag.
Click Save.
To check that the installation is successful, insert the address of our website in the Enter domain name field.
To complete the check, click the Check system button.
After completion, you will see a message that the code was added successfully.
